WELS School – Leadership Program

The three-day leadership program is designed for young people of all interests and capabilities. The program is challenging, inspiring and fun and built on learning leadership and life skills through practical team-based challenges out and about in the local community. WELS Program Coordinator, Ben Righetti (MBA, GD Ed, BSc, MEd* MSoc.Dev, COR) is a passionate, highly qualified and skilled educator and program coordinator, with 20 years’ experience running programs for young people and schools around Australia - including at Wesley.

For students in Prep to Year 6/7

Just Dance is an engaging dance program that inspires children to move, create and have fun. Bringing music and movement together in a high energy and inclusive environment, students develop rhythm, coordination and self confidence while staying active, engaged and smiling. Shuttle Smash - Badminton

Looking for an active and fun way to spend the school holidays? Fit For Kids Co is excited to bring the Badminton Australia Shuttle Smash Program to Wesley Glen Waverley Campus this September!

Designed for kids aged 5–12 years, the program uses modified racquets and equipment to make badminton easy to learn and fun for all skill levels. Across three action packed mornings, children will enjoy:

  • Technical coaching in badminton strokes, serving and strategy
  • Fun games and drills to build confidence and teamwork
  • Matchplay & competition, where players put their skills into action in friendly, modified matches
