Ski and Snowboard Club, Mount Buller

The 2023 snow season has seen members and guests make good use of the lodge. After good conditions early, the mid-season has proved warmer and lighter on snow and we’re hopeful for a return to winter for the remainder of the season. Even with less-than-ideal conditions, the lodge and Mt Buller remain an excellent alpine getaway offering snow shoeing, hiking, ski touring as well as skiing and snowboarding and lots of après ski atmosphere.

If you are planning a trip to Mt Buller in 2024, contact our booking officer now to set up a login and review our website. Bookings open each year in March for the season ahead. Collegians Ski Club offer a ‘Friends of Collegians’ preferential bed rate and booking opportunity each season.

By contacting the booking officer on bookings.collegians@gmail.com and listing your connection to Wesley College such as past student, enrolled children or member of staff, you will be provided with a digital login to the Collegians Ski Club site  https://www.collegiansskiclub.org.au/content/about.aspx where bookings can be made at any time, subject to availability.

Collegians Ski Club was formed in 1963 to foster skiing amongst Old Wesley Collegians and their families and encourage alpine sports amongst students of the Wesley College campuses. It is situated in a spectacular position on Breathtaker Spur, with magnificent views across surrounding slopes and valleys from either the comfortable living areas or the wide balcony. From the family style lodge, you can ski directly onto Standard and Wood Run, and it is a short walk or shuttle ride to the Ski School and Bourke Street, the chairlifts to the Summit, and to adjacent slopes.

The lodge features eight bunk rooms, three with ensuites, the remaining with dedicated bathrooms, and a spacious entertaining area which includes a lounge with an open fire, bar, two TV rooms, dining area and a fully equipped communal kitchen. The passageways and bunkrooms are carpeted throughout, all rooms are centrally heated for comfort and enjoyment and a spacious drying room is available for use by all. The basement has space for storage of Club supplies, lockable ski racks, individual lockers for members' food, clothing and equipment.

We look forward to welcoming you to Mount Buller at any time of the year!
