As part of the College’s 160-year celebrations, the OWCA is hosting our inaugural Wesley Generation’s Family Coffee morning where we will bring together, celebrate and recognise the cross-generational relationships that exist within our community.

The aim is to provide a platform for alumni of multiple generations – including current students, to connect and share experiences. As we bring our generational families together, we hope to strengthen and celebrate the sense of community, legacy and history that is such an integral part of the Wesley story.

Fellow of both the College and the OWCA, Gordon Newton OAM (OW1950), recently visited the St Kilda Road Campus with son Richard (OW1977), grandson Tim (OW2004) and great grandson and current student, Lachlan, celebrating five generations of the Newton family at Wesley College. Gordon’s father, Mr Lauri Newton, was also a student commencing in 1907, starting a long and enduring legacy with the College.
