OWCA Auto Day 2025
The fourth OWCA Auto Day at Wesley College's Glen Waverley Campus was a resounding success, uniting the Wesley community in a vibrant celebration of automotive passion and Collegian spirit.
With 58 vehicles spanning various eras and styles - from vintage classics to modern marvels - the event offered attendees a rich tapestry of automotive history and innovation.
Tom Pewtress (OW2018), President of the OWCA, served as the Master of Ceremonies, guiding the day's events with enthusiasm and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
The newly formed Collegians Car Club (CCC) played a pivotal role in organising the event, their dedication evident by the day’s diverse vehicle showcase.
The OWCA Auto Day 2025 not only showcased an impressive array of vehicles but also reinforced the strong bonds within the Wesley community. The success of this inaugural event sets the stage for a cherished tradition in the years to come.
The day's festivities included the presentation of three playful awards:
People's Choice: Voted by attendees, this award honouring the most beloved car on display was presented to Zac Calabro (OW2004) for his Jaguar E-type.
Organisers' Choice: Chosen by the CCC, this award honoured a vehicle that truly captured the spirit of the event and was presented to Andrew Wood (OW1996) for his E9 BMW.
Best Worst Decision: Celebrating the quirkiest and most unconventional vehicle, this award, a tribute to the owner's bold and daring choices - went to the proud owner of a stretched Land Cruiser
