We have had a very exciting start to the year as we welcomed our new director, Maggie Dunleavy, B. Mus. and several new choir members. Maggie and our pianist, Carl, have been working together to introduce us to several new songs and lots of interesting warm-up routines, some of which have really challenged our brains!
Our AGM was held in March with the new committee being appointed:

- Treasurer: Barb Hoad
- Community Relations: Susie Rodgers-Wilson (OWCA Honorary Life Member)
We enjoyed Founders’ Day Lunch in May, leading the singing of the school songs and a concert at Malvern East Horizons Care Community also in May. We will have a Family and Friends’ concert later this year as well. We’re always happy to hear from anyone who may have a suggestion of a group who might enjoy a choral recital!
We rehearse each Wednesday during the school term in the Stillwell Centre at St Kilda Road and new members are always welcome. If you’d like to come to a rehearsal, call Susie for more information.
