Generous supporters of the Annual Giving program
The focus of our Annual Giving program this year was supporting our College Scholarship Program to enable additional students to benefit from a Wesley education. A number of Wesley families and alumni support this crucial philanthropic program with donations and bequests. One such family is Dorise Chen and Alan Xu, who are parents at our Elsternwick Campus.
Dorise explains her motivation for supporting this program: ‘I firmly believe that students are our future, and the world will soon be depending on them.
It is therefore vital that we continue to support talented students to help them achieve their full potential, especially those whose parents cannot afford a Wesley education.’
‘As Wesley parents, we and our children have benefited from the cultural diversity, inclusiveness and new ways of learning in literacy, numeracy, wellbeing, social, music and sport. The Wesley values, ethics and working principles are very much aligned with our own and we hope other Wesley parents feel the same. It is our honour and pleasure to support the Wesley College Foundation, College community and students via donations towards Wesley’s scholarship program and we hope our contribution will assist more talented students achieve their future endeavours.’
