Ski and Snowboard Club, Mount Buller

The 2023 snow season has begun, and club members and guests are looking forward to another season of good snow and social connection at the well-appointed Collegians Club Lodge.

Collegians Ski Club is situated in a spectacular position on Breathtaker Spur, with magnificent views across surrounding slopes and valleys from the comfortable living areas or the wide balcony. From the family style lodge, you can ski directly onto Standard and Wood Run, and it is a short walk or shuttle ride to the Ski School and Bourke Street, the chairlifts to the Summit, and to adjacent slopes.

Collegians Ski Club was formed in 1963 to foster skiing amongst Old Wesley Collegians and their families and to encourage alpine sports amongst students of Wesley College.

Construction of the architect-designed lodge began in 1963 by Club Members and friends. Over intervening years, it has been continually updated and modernised, so that it retains its early Mount Buller heritage charm, yet provides every modern comfort and facility required by today's snow sports enthusiasts. Most recently, Collegians completed updates to the upstairs common areas, bar, TV room and bunk room ensuites.

The lodge features eight bunk rooms, three with ensuites; the remaining with dedicated bathrooms, and a spacious entertaining area which includes a lounge with an open fire, bar, two TV rooms, dining area and a fully equipped communal kitchen.

The passageways and bunkrooms are carpeted throughout, and all rooms are centrally heated for comfort and enjoyment. A spacious drying room is available for use by all. The basement has space for storage of Club supplies, lockable ski racks and individual lockers for members' food, clothing and equipment.

Collegians Ski Club offers ‘Friends of Collegians’ preferential bed rates and booking opportunities each season.

Contact bookings.collegians@gmail.com and list your connection to Wesley College such as peer year, enrolled children or member of staff. You will be provided with a digital login to the Collegians Ski Club site where bookings can be made at any time online, subject to availability.

We are looking forward another great season and hope to welcome new members of the community to Mt. Buller.
