The choral career of Wesley student William Blakiston is progressing in leaps and bounds.

Year 4 Elsternwick student William Blakiston recently performed, virtually, with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, singing Paul Kelly’s ‘Leaps and Bounds.’

Featuring almost 200 people, the ‘Dedicated to Melbourne’ virtual choir performance brought together community vocalists from across Australia alongside members of the MSO Chorus and musicians from the MSO.

According to the MSO, ‘This performance is dedicated to all of Melbourne, as a timely reminder that while our road to recovery post COVID-19 may be challenging, music will always bring us together.’

‘Dedicated to Melbourne,’ the MSO performance celebrates quintessentially Melbourne icons like the MCG and the Nylex clock on Punt Road silos.

Watch the ‘Dedicated to Melbourne’ MSO performance, and look out for William!
