Supporting brain research in record time

Year 12 students from Wesley’s Glen Waverley Campus broke a world record in September while raising more than $5,000 for the Robert Connor Dawes Foundation, a charity that supports children with brain cancer and contributes funding to research.

Harry and Nick Smith (no relation!) attempted the 100km Under 19 Tandem World Record on an Ergometer (rowing machine), swapping every two minutes. They successfully completed their goal in five hours and 47 minutes, beating the previous world record by eight minutes.

Congratulations to Harry and Nick on their stellar effort, we're very proud of them both!
