International Day
Elsternwick celebrated International Day with a focus on Chinese culture during the last week of Term 3. It was an opportunity for our students from ECLC to Year 5 to consolidate their understanding of Chinese literacy, as part of our Enhanced Language Program. Students had fun practising Chinese calligraphy and ‘Jiàn kāng gē’ dancing. They also enjoyed a visit from Alison Lloyd, children’s author of ‘Dragons, Devils and Rebels’. It was a a fun and interactive way to learn Mandarin!
