Athletics finals
It was an outstanding day for Wesley Track and Field competitors at the APS Athletics finals held at Lakeside Stadium on Saturday. It was the thirty-third annual combined meeting for the girl and the one hundred and twelfth annual meeting for the boys' competition; with a big crowd of students, families and friends supporting all competitors. Six schools compete in the girl's and eleven in the boys' competition.
Congratulations to all athletes who competed on Saturday. It was a fantastic day, with the Wesley Girls team winning the competition in the morning to retain the premiership trophy (our sixth consecutive win which is an APS record) and the Wesley Boys team finishing third, their highest placing since 1997.
