Michael Simpson receives Premier's VCE Award

The Premier’s VCE Awards ceremony was held at the Crown Palladium, Melbourne, on Thursday 27 April. The awards recognise the 2016 top-performing VCE students for their outstanding academic achievements in the Victorian Certificate of Education.

Michael Simpson, our 2016 VCE Walter Powell Scholar, was one of the 287 students to receive the prestigious award. Michael’s award was achieved in Biology, a VCE subject with a total student population of 13,040 and only nine Premier’s awards.

Michael’s Biology teacher, Di Barclay, and VCE Coordinator, Lisa Saffin, attended the ceremony on behalf of the campus to personally congratulate Michael on his truly outstanding achievement.
