A great start to an exciting year

There was great excitement at Wesley today as students returned to school for the beginning of the school year. 2016 is a real milestone in the history of the College, as we celebrate the sesquicentenary of Wesley College – 150 years since the first student, Freddie Binks, started at Wesley on 18 January 1866.

The first major event of the sesquicentennial year is the celebration of Glen Waverley’s Golden Jubilee on Saturday 5 March.

This year the College has also introduced a new school uniform and three Year 5 students Ellie, Keira and Jake (pictured below), proudly wore the new uniform to school today – by all accounts, it’s been a great hit amongst the students.
