The Australian Combined Schools Music Festival brings together some of the finest student musicians from around the nation to perform together under the guidance of outstanding national and international conductors. The biennial festival is hosted by different schools around Australia and this year will be held in Melbourne and hosted by Wesley College. The five days of the festival (17 – 21 June) will culminate in a gala concert performance featuring outstanding instrumental, choral and combined repertoire. The student musicians form three high standard ensembles - the Festival Concert Band conducted by Mark Ford (from Wesley College), the Festival Choir conducted by Stephen Leek and the Festival Orchestra conducted by Stephen Mould.
