Accolades for our athletics team

The Wesley College athletics team has excelled again at the Victorian Track Relay Championships, which were held at Lakeside Stadium, Albert Park, late in Term 3. A real competitiveness was shown by our athletes with a number of tremendous results. The Wesley boys won the overall points cup and the Wesley girls were second, by one point only. In other highlights the Wesley girls were first and second in the Under 14 medley, and the Under 16 boys won medals in every event they contested.

The Junior girls’ and Intermediate girls’ teams both qualified for the National Schools Knockout to be held in Adelaide in December.
