BMX champion

Glen Waverley Year 12 student, Max Cairns, has had an exciting week at the National BMX Championships in Shepparton, taking out several competitions to cement his position as number one in the Australian Junior Elite class. Max’s huge week began when he won the fifth round of the Oceania Championship (Australia and New Zealand), before going on to win the BMX National Championships Junior Elite. This is an exciting time for Max, who has shown a great deal of dedication and determination on his way to number one. Wesley College congratulates Max on this wonderful achievement, and look forward to watching on in July when he represents Australia at the World Championship in Rotterdam.
