2018 St Kilda Road Graduate Art Exhibition

The St Kilda Road Graduate Art Exhibition celebrates the achievements of the Year 12 Art students of 2018. The Cato Room and lower floor of the Moubray Street Art and Design Precinct housed an extensive and diverse array of visual artworks. This year’s exhibition showcased a wide range of media, including film, by students completing VCE Studio Arts, Visual Communication and Media, as well as IB Diploma Visual Arts.

Our guest speaker and acquisition judge, Lisa Roet, was very impressed with the professionalism of the large-scale exhibition and the creativity and concepts explored in the artworks. She had a difficult task in selecting a winner for this year’s Art Acquisition Prize. Elsa Bryant (IB DP Visual Arts) was ultimately chosen as the winner for her Claymation video How do Flowers Cry?
