Mulan
This year provided a truly spectacular opportunity for Glen Waverley students to be involved in the production of Mulan, a well-known Disney tale that crosses cultural boundaries. The story also consolidates the message that we should always seek to maintain a sense of ourselves, while challenging the notions of persisting with tradition for tradition’s sake.
Members of the cast have expressed their pride in each other’s efforts and commitment throughout the production, and everyone is grateful for their opportunity to be involved in a loved story representing themes that transcend the cultural context in which it takes place.
