It is with great pleasure that I welcome new and continuing families back to Wesley.  I am thrilled to see our campuses alive with students and teaching staff enjoying being back in our normal learning environment.

I feel very  optimistic about 2022.  Building on the historic  success of the Class of 2021, we look forward to supporting all students throughout the year as they pursue their personal best in all areas of college life and learning.  Rest assured we have rigorous protocols  and practices in place to try and keep COVID-related disruptions to a minimum and our community as safe and healthy as possible.

Early in Term 1, we will be launching ROAR, our new College-wide approach to Wellbeing. In the coming weeks, you will learn more about our evidence-based wellbeing practices and programs designed to connect and support students, staff and families within and beyond the classroom.

We hope you enjoy this first edition of the new look Campus Newsletter.  Late last year, we asked parents for feedback on how we communicate with families. The changes to frequency, format and content of the campus newsletter are a direct result of this feedback and just one of the changes we are making to improve engagement with you.  The campus newsletters will now be distributed fortnightly via email with a focus on what students are experiencing in classrooms, on campus and in all contexts of learning.

With every good wish,

Nick Evans
