There was much to celebrate and a real sense of excitement and enthusiasm as we welcomed Senior School students and Head of School, Oliver Thompson, back for the first full week of classes.
An impressive number of our community were recognised at our Academic Awards assembly, which featured the insightful Hollaway Oration from Anyorkor Quist (OW2021).
As year levels, we reflected on the power and promise of new beginnings and were delighted to join Ms Bence, our School Captains Jack Edwards and Zara Giacobello and Prefect Patrick Leong to announce the Year 10, Year 11 and Year 12 representatives on the newly formed Campus Advisory Committee. This committee will provide an important and valued avenue for campus leaders to engage with students in 2022 and the years to come.
Our students have reflected on their personal goals for Semester 1 and settled into the routine of classes beautifully, finishing the week with two passionate, collegial and joyous rounds of Musical Chairs in Friday’s House Activities, which was resoundingly won by Adamson House.
