Lunar New Year Celebrations

Happy Lunar New Year to all! What a wonderful start to the Year of the Tiger- representing strength, courage and bravery. We celebrated this significant event on Thursday 3 February with a spectacular lion dance performance by the Chinese Masonic Society Team. The students in Senior, Middle and Junior Schools were delighted and thrilled as they watched the acrobatic movements of the lion and heard the drums and percussive sounds to ward of any evil spirits for the New Year.

House Activities 2022

There was excitement in the air when the Senior School students had their first set of House Activities last Friday. The first house activity for 2022 was the limbo competition, which started with a warm welcome from the Senior House Prefect, Will Humphries. The Year 12 boys set the standard high by having the largest number of participants, which encouraged many of our Year 10 and 11 students to participate. Oscar House took their first win for the year with 389 points, followed by Menzies with 369 points. The third and fourth place had a difference of 2 points by Holt managing to stay ahead with 247 points and Dessau with 245 points. It was wonderful to see the whole of Senior School come together, and I am looking forward to a term full of House activities.
