Book Week Celebration
The 2021 theme for Book Week was 'Old Worlds, New Worlds, Other Worlds' and for our students and their imagination, the sky was the limit.
Students and staff alike dressed up as their favourite characters and students shared excerpts from their favourite books with their peers, or what they loved about the book they chose. They explored picture books from the Children’s Book Council Australia and celebrated Book Week together with a special virtual assembly. Our creative young learners also created art pieces ranging from weird and whacky dioramas of 'other worlds' to beautiful birds made from local flora and fauna. There was a wide array of characters on display and students went to great lengths to embody their chosen protagonist.
