1. Academic scholarships are awarded based on the results of the Academic Test and an interview at the discretion of the Head of Campus or delegate.
  2. All other scholarships are awarded based on the written application and supporting documentation and an interview at the discretion of the Head of Campus or delegate.
  3. Students may apply for a number of different scholarships at Wesley however, applicants can only apply for one of either the General Excellence Scholarship or the Glen Waverley Middle School Expansion Scholarship.
  4. Students applying for an Academic Scholarship are also welcome to apply for a Glen Waverley Middle School Expansion Scholarship or General Excellence Scholarship.
  5. Applicants are permitted to submit only one Academic Scholarship application for one campus.
  6. The Glen Waverley Middle School Expansion Scholarship is open to new applicants entering Year 5, 6 or 7 at the Glen Waverley Campus only.
  7. To be eligible for a scholarship at Wesley College, candidates must have Australian citizenship or permanent residency in Australia.
  8. Students awarded scholarships are required to contribute fully to the life of the College, including maintaining standards as outlined in the scholarship category. The College reserves the right to review a scholar’s performance at any time and withdraw scholarships offered in circumstances where the terms of the scholarship have not been met.
  9. At any given time, a student may be the recipient of only one Wesley College scholarship. Only one scholarship may be awarded per family, unless otherwise endorsed by the Principal.
  10. The number of scholarships awarded each year will vary at the discretion of the Principal.
  11. All scholarship applications incur a non-refundable $100 application fee, excluding the Elsternwick Music and Elsternwick Language Scholarships, which do not incur an application fee. The scholarship application fee is waived for current Wesley College students and children/grandchildren of Old Collegians (excluding Academic scholarship applications).
  12. All students applying for an Academic Scholarship will incur a $100 application fee, including current students or child(ren)/grandchild(ren) of an Old Collegian.
  13. All applicants will be notified in writing of the outcome of their scholarship application. The College reserves the right to not provide feedback about the outcome of an unsuccessful Scholarship application. All applications are reviewed and considered by the relevant Head of Campus and all decisions are final.
